American Family Radio’s Bryan Fischer Endorses Chris McDaniel for United States Senate
Nationally syndicated radio host says President Trump needs more senators like McDaniel
Tupelo, MS – Former Director of Issues Analysis for the American Family Association and current nationally syndicated radio host Bryan Fischer has endorsed state Senator Chris McDaniel in the special election to fill the remainder of Senator Thad Cochran’s term.
Fischer has been the host of Focal Point on American Family Radio for nine years, broadcasting to 184 radio stations in 38 states across the country.
Fischer made his endorsement public on Facebook.
“Time after time, Mississippians have been disappointed in candidates who promise us constitutional governance when they campaign and promptly get swallowed up by the Swamp when they get to D.C,” Fischer wrote. “Chris has proven during his time in the Mississippi state senate that he is a man of unbending core convictions. He never wobbles or wavers on conservative principle.”
Fischer also added that McDaniel was the candidate that would push President Donald Trump’s agenda.
“President Trump needs more senators like Chris to help him fulfill his agenda to restore America to its greatness,” Fischer added. “Chris is not a politician – he is a statesman who will work ceaselessly to defund Planned Parenthood, protect religious liberty for all Americans, confirm constitutionalist judges, demolish what’s left of Obamacare, strengthen our military, cut spending, and reduce regulations. He will work to stop illegal immigration in its tracks by building a border wall, and will defend our enduring alliance with the nation of Israel.”
McDaniel welcomed Fischer’s endorsement.
“Bryan Fischer is a nationally-recognized conservative champion,” McDaniel said. “I am honored and appreciative of his endorsement, and can’t thank him enough for what he’s done for the conservative movement.”
